The cost varies depending on the size of the area that needs to be covered. The larger the area the cheaper per square metre it is to hydro-mulch. In nearly all cases it is cheaper to hydromulch and hydroseed than it is to lay turf.
The better the soil the better the end result. In areas where soil quality is poor we can help advise the best solution for maximising the chances of an effective long-term cover.
Hydromulching provides a temporary layer of erosion control from wind and water until vegetation germinates, making it ideal for batter stabilisation. Where as hydroseeding is simply a method of applying seed and does not provide extra protection against erosion until vegetation establishes.
Yes, we can hydroseed smaller residential areas as well as large commercial and industrial applications. The larger the area to be covered the cheaper it becomes to spray-on grass.
